Instructions & Treatment Dosage Rate:
Initial Dosage
Shake the bottle well before use. Turn off your U.V. light for the first initial 3 treatments ONLY. Add 4 teaspoons (tsp) [20 mL] of Koi Pharma® Koi Defender per 1,000 gallons of water every 3 days for 3 treatments. Then add 4 tsp [20 mL] of Koi Pharma® Koi Defender per 1,000 gallons of water once a week for 2 weeks.
Maintenance Dosage
Add 2 tsp [10 mL] per 1,000 gallons of water once a week to maintain proper water quality and healthy fish.
Dosage by Water Temperature:
50ºF - 62ºF: Double (2x) Dosage Rate
63ºF - 69ºF: 1.5x Dosage Rate
69ºF and Higher: Normal Dosage Rate as listed above
Optimal Water Parameters
pH: 7 - 9 pH
Total Alkalinity: 80 ppm or higher
Temperature: 50ºF and Higher
Koi Pharma® Koi Defender will REDUCE all strains of ulcer causing pathogenic bacteria, such as Aeromonas and Pseudomonas, by starving them out of your ponds ecosystem. Koi Defender’s powerful formula will NOT harm your biofilter and can be stored at room temperature for 2 years without a decrease in efficacy. This product can be refrigerated for a total of three (3) years for longer term storage.
Feeding Directions:
Feed this food to your fish twice (2x) a day for 12 to 14 consecutive days. Amount fed should be ample for the fish to eat within 5-10 minutes.
Koi Pharma® Bacterial Control Koi Food should be fed exclusively during this treatment. DO NOT combine with any other drugs or treatments except those approved by Koi Pharma® (www.koipharma.com). Can be used with Koi Pharma® Pure Nitro OR Koi Pharma® Pure Broad Spectrum OR Koi Pharma® Pure Prazi or Koi Pharma® Koi Defender.
If your fish do not initially eat the food then do not feed for 1-3 days to allow the fish to gain an appetite for this food.
Koi Pharma® Bacterial Control Koi Food is 50% floating and 50% sinking food.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
This is a whole pond treatment and is to be used between 5-7 days. Beneficial to treat newly added fish to a pond or as an anti-bacterial whole pond treatment.
It is recommended to do a 30-50% water change prior to dosing to remove any unnecessary organic matter in the pond. Mix the desired amount of medication in a bucket containing pond water. Stir it up until well dissolved and then disperse the medication evenly throughout the pond. ALWAYS have ample aeration, especially when treating during the warmer weather. Once the treatment is complete (5-7 days), do a 30-50% water change to remove the majority of the medication from the water. Another water change may be necessary to clarify the color of the water. A second treatment may be necessary. Pure Nitro works best when used in conjunction with Koi Pharma Bacterial Control Koi Food.
DO NOT combine with any other drugs or treatments except those approved by Koi Pharma® (www.koipharma.com). Remove all activated carbon and turn off protein skimmer. Can be used with Koi Pharma® Pure Salt up to a 0.3% (3.0ppt) concentration. For accuracy and reproducibility, carefully weigh dosages. However, 1 Tablespoon (Tbsp) is approximately 7.6 grams (7600 mg) and will treat 150 gallons at the 50 gram per 1000 gallon rate. Use gloves and face covering when using and measuring this medication to mitigate exposure to it
Directions For Use:
Make sure you know your TOTAL GALLONAGE for the body of water you’re treating. Add 3.5oz (100ml) of Koi Pharma® Pure Broad Spectrum for every 1,000 gallons of total volume of water.
Remove all activated carbon from the pond/filters, stop the use of protein skimmers, and turn off UV light during the duration of treatment. For maximum effectiveness, do not bypass biological or mechanical filtration.
Repeat daily for three (3) consecutive days with a water change of at least 25% between each treatment for optimal effectiveness of the medication. Do not increase or decrease the recommended dosage. Ensure the body of water is heavily aerated.
In emergency situations, the period between treatments may be shortened to every 12 hours with at least a 25% water change in between each treatment. Always watch the behavior of your fish for the first hour to ensure there are no adverse effects to the treatment. Always be prepared to do a large water change and add Koi Pharma® Pure Activated Carbon if you see any signs of stress (i.e. fish gasping at the surface of the water).
CAUTION: DO NOT USE PURE BROAD SPECTRUM WITH ANY LEVEL OF SALT.
Do not use sulfinate or sulfoxylate water conditioners. Wear gloves and goggles when using this product, it will stain clothing, concrete, wood, plastic containers and most other surfaces. Koi Pharma® Pure Broad Spectrum may be harmful to some invertebrates like mollusks, use with caution when treating ponds with invertebrates.

DOSAGE:
Normal Dosage: One (1) gram of Koi Pharma® Pure Prazi per 100 gallons of water
FOR SEVERE INFESTATIONS: Dosage can be doubled to two (2) grams per 100 gallons of water
TREATMENT RECOMMENDATION:
1 Treatment EACH week for 2 Weeks.
1st Treatment helps to eliminate adult parasites.
2nd Treatment helps to eliminate all larvae and newly laid eggs.
DIRECTIONS:
Partial Water change (25%) is recommended to remove excess waste and organics. Remove all activated carbon from pond/filters, stop the use of protein skimmers, and turn off UV light during the duration of treatment. Weigh out the dose of Koi Pharma® Pure Prazi needed to treat and dissolve medication easily dispersed in water (recommended to use Koi Pharma® Pure Broad Spectrum when following restrictions presented on both products). Evenly disperse dissolved medication evenly around the pond for maximum coverage. One treatment duration is 7 days. Following the first treatment it is recommended to do another partial water change (25%) and re-dose for a secondary treatment.

THIS CAN AND SHOULD BE USED YEAR-ROUND
Dosage Rate:
1 Tablespoon of Koi Pharma® Pure KH Stabilizer per 125 gallons of pond water to raise your KH by 20 ppm.
Use 1⁄2 (0.5) cups of Koi Pharma® Pure KH Stabilizer to raise your KH 20 ppm per 1000 gallons of pond water.
Directions for Use:
Add the correct amount of Koi Pharma® Pure KH Stabilizer to an area of high water flow such as a skimmer, waterfall fall, waterfall box or above your aerator. This will help to dissolve the product at a faster rate to protect and buffer your pH. Add Koi Pharma® Pure KH Stabilizer every time after a water change to maintain the optimal KH which is around 125-150 ppm. Do NOT exceed a KH level over 400 ppm and avoid going over 300 ppm if you live in an environment with naturally hard water.
Use Koi Pharma® Pure KH Stabilizer year round to maintain your KH level and buffering your pH level. We recommend increasing your KH level around another 20 ppm prior to heavy rainfall or snowfall to prevent pH swings from higher acid concentrations in various forms of precipitation.
Low Alkalinity will halt the nitrification process causing ammonia and nitrite spikes and potentially lead to a pH Crash. KH levels should be tested daily when cycling your pond, then tested weekly to biweekly during in season maintenance.
Adding Koi Pharma® Pure KH Stabilizer will naturally cause some pond environments to hold a steady pH around 8.4 and will not accurately show with a wide range pH test kit.
Koi and Goldfish are safe in a 7-9 pH environment
Directions For Use:
Rinse Koi Pharma® Pure Activated Carbon thoroughly to remove carbon dust before adding to your pond. Weigh out the amount of carbon needed for your pond (see Dosage Rate) and place it inside of the included fine mesh bag. Place the carbon bag in a high flow area such as in a skimmer, waterfall or waterfall box or potentially on top of your aeration. Place Koi Pharma® Pure Activated Carbon in your pond following a water change after a medication/pond treatment to remove all remaining medication from the pond and to clarify water from any discoloration.
Dosage Rate:
2.5 pounds of Koi Pharma® Pure Activated Carbon per 1000 gallons of pond water.
If you have larger fish loads then we recommend doubling the dose so that this product can properly remove the impurities from the water

Koi Pharma® Pure Activated Carbon is a super absorbent bituminous coal that performs chemical filtration for your pond. It works like a sponge specifically targeting all impurities in the water column and polishing your water. Useful in removing toxins and tannins (tea-colored) water in addition to eliminating chlorine, odor, etc.
USE WARNINGS:
Replace carbon after 2-3 months of use, carbon will have absorbed all that it can absorb and is no longer active. Remove Koi Pharma® Pure Activated Carbon when treating with any medications or water treatments.
Directions for Use:
Koi Pharma® Pure Salt is best applied when premixed with pond water in a container to create a slurry. Then spread it evenly around the pond’s outer edge. Failing to spread the salt slurry can prove harmful to the fish as it may induce salt burns. Be sure to know your total gallonage of your pond to properly dose. Improperly dosing can lead to harming aquatic plants and or aquatic life.
MAINTENANCE / ROUTINE APPLICATION RATE
(Can be used routinely after water changes or after a pond cleanout).
Ponds with Aquatic Plants: Use 0.5 lbs of Koi Pharma® Pure Salt per 100 gallons of pond water
(This will provide a concentration of 0.05% [0.5 ppt])
Ponds without Aquatic Plants: Use 1.5 lbs of Koi Pharma® Pure Salt per 100 gallons of pond water
(This will provide a concentration between 0.15% [1.5ppt])
PERSISTENT PROBLEM (TREATING DISEASE) APPLICATION RATE
(Be sure to increase the amount of aeration to the pond during treatment)
Ponds with Aquatic Plants: Use 0.75 lb of Koi Pharma® Pure Salt per 100 gallons of pond water
(This will provide a concentration of 0.075% [0.75 ppt])
Ponds without Aquatic Plants: Use 3 lbs of Koi Pharma® Pure Salt per 100 gallons of pond water
(This will provide a concentration of 0.3% [3.0 ppt])
QUARANTINING (SEVERE DISEASE TREATMENT) APPLICATION RATE
(Be sure to increase the amount of aeration to the pond during treatment)
Use 5 lbs of Koi Pharma® Pure Salt per 100 gallons of pond water
(This will provide a concentration of 0.5% [5.0 ppt]). Use at this concentration for
a max of 2 weeks and then begin to decrease the salt concentration by doing water changes.
USE WARNINGS:
Do NOT overdose. When adding salt to ponds that contain aquatic plants, be especially careful in monitoring salt concentration as salt can have a toxic effect on plants. Before adding salt to your pond, remove any zeolite products being used. Do not add medications like Koi Pharma® Pure Broad Spectrum or any other formalin and malachite green medication to the pond when salt is in the water, it WILL kill your fish. Be aware that Koi Pharma® Pure Salt does not evaporate out of
the water and it will not be filtered out. Take precaution when dosing with Koi Pharma® Pure Salt and only apply more when you have completed a water change and have used a salinity meter to confirm salt concentration. Do not add more Koi Pharma® Pure Salt if topping off your pond due to evaporation.
Use a salinity meter if you are unsure.
Failure to use as directed, or any sudden changes in your water conditions not consistent with the label, can result in the loss and or injury of your fish or other aquatic life. Koi Pharma®, or any of its entities, are not responsible for any loss of life, aquatic or otherwise.
